America's Top Tables: Our Readers' Favorite Restaurants

A great restaurant is a winning combination of fabulous food, attentive service, inviting ambiance, creative presentation and fine wines. With the results of this, our second annual readers’ poll, we celebrate the restaurants that you -- the most discriminating diners we know -- rated top on your hometowns.

More than 26,000 randomly selected subscribers in 24 regions of the U.S. and Canada were asked to rate over 3,000 establishments -- everything from family-run eateries to luxury hotel dining rooms and from contemporary American cuisine to traditional Mexican, Chinese and Spanish. Some restaurants proved enduring favorites while others are talking their place in the spotlight for the first time.
